To avoid loosing your settings you must back them up before installing this release!
Also, due to memory problems, you might get problems upgrading units to this release, especially models with PHONE ports or units with extensive configuration.
Therefore please follow this steps closely when upgrading your unit to this release:
1. Go to Configurations, Administraton and click on "Backup to file" to backup your config to a PC file
2. Units with PHONE ports: Go to Configurations, Security and enter "100" into the "Total" field of Resource Allocation. Click Apply, then click "Save permanently" at top of the page.
3. Reboot the unit.
After unit has rebooted:
4. Go to "Configurations", "Upgrade", and enter the name of the tar-file to upgrade to and click "Go"
After the new firmware has been installed:
5. Go to Configurations, Administration and click on "Install" in the "Bootloader" field.
After new bootloader has been installed (takes ca 2 seconds):
6. Go to Configurations, Administration, enter the file name of your file saved in step 1 above, and klick "Go"
7. Click "Save permanently" at top of the page.
These steps are not required in future upgrades but are vital for this one.
We plan to release release 4.02 as soon as possible.
