[INFO] Firmware 5.10 (BETA) für IX67

We have now built our firmware release 5.10 for our IX67 product too.

You can download a pre-release of it from:

New features in 5.10 pre 4 (compared to 4.03):

o SIP/TLS added

o Voice ports (FXS/FXO) improved

o SIP selection of preferred QOP added
o SIP Music on hold added
o SIP B2BUA re-INVITE end-to-end added
o SIP Strip ICE SDP attributes added
o Ring function on FXS ports for deaf or hearing impaired added
o SIP incoming calls from RIX stability improved
o Media port number for SIP calls improved
o Call hangup improved
o Other minor improvements


This is a hidden link, the release is not public yet. In fact, as the name tells, it is only a pre-release. This is only for you guys reading IX Central!
NOTE: This pre-release is provided "as-is". Intertex does not support it officially. You cannot contact neither our resellers' nor Intertex's support with questions about it.
But of course will we try to help you through this site!

This release will probably be the final release for our IX67 product.



Some of the new features explained in detail:

SIP FENT support
================
FENT, Far End Nat Traversal, solves the problems encountered when the SIP device you try to contact is behind a non-SIP-capable NAT device.
FENT sends keep-alive packets to those clients keeping their NAT ports open.
To be able to use FENT you need to have a SIP switch licence. Then you enable FENT using the checkbox on the SIP Advanced page.


SIP TLS support
===============
IX67 now supports TLS, Transport Layer Security.
To be able to use TLS you need to have a SIP switch licence.
If you have VPN licence for your IX67 you can use its certificate handling/create features to import or create certificates.
Without VPN licence you can use the hidden page ls.asp to import certificates.
