Hallo,

gerade gekaufte Optipoint 600 Office (refurbished):
- Seriennummer: 0001E3214513 E3/R9
- Plattformversion 1.2/23 / 9th nov 2004

unser altes schwarzes Octophon F50:
- LP6200 ROM-Bootimage
- Seriennummer: 0001E3208A61 R2
- Plattformversion 1.2/19 / 21st. Jan. 2003
- Anwendungsversion T-Octophon 1.0.1
- Telefonversion LP01.10

Besten Dank schon mal.

Hab doch was gefunden:

The Phone device software file is named inca.h86
To upgrade a LP6200 device, the inca.h86 file should be present in the folder designated by the Download Server Details specified on the device and the FTP server Home directory.
If the application software (BCM) requires upgrading, the file named vxworks.app should be present in the folder as identified above.
If the Platform software (bootrom) requires upgrading, the file named bootrom.app should be present in the folder as identified above.
With the necessary files present in the download folder, the device upgrade can be initiated either from the device, the Deployment tool or the Webserver.

-------------------------------------------
Procedure for upgrading to SIP from TDM/HFA.
-------------------------------------------
The application software file is named op600sip.app
To upgrade the optiPoint 600 device with version 2.3.8 or later, the op600sip.app file should be present in the folder designated by the Download Server Details specified on the device and the FTP server Home directory.
To upgrade the optiPoint 600 device with version 2.3.7 or earlier or recent HFA, the op600sip.app file should be renamed to vxworks.app and be present in the folder designated by the Download Server Details specified on the device and the FTP server Home directory.

Setup an FTP server (free 3CDaemon i.e.) which matches with User and Password to the FTP client of thephone, found in:
Touchscreen (Arrow up) Service – Administration – File Transfer – Downloads – Download Server Settings
With 3CD FTP server the Account Name is not mandatory.
Touchscreen (Arrow up) Service – Administration – File Transfer – Downloads – Download Software
Be patient, download and SW install of the phone takes time.
On download error see the log file of FTP server.

If the phone is upgraded from version 2.42.x or earlier or HFA, it is essential that a factory reset is performed upon completion of the software upgrade.

I saw after HFA to SIP conversion, before reset, old version display lights with full power, and after factory reset same display have poor back light, with this fact someone maybe can find modification for SIP FW to enable full back light power for old display type??!!!

Factory reset on the phone can only be done locally on the phone. Not possible via Deployment Tool or WEB-IF.
See procedure below. Please refer also to Admin Manual.

POWER SUPPLY
------------------------------
The optiPoint 600 workpoint must always be powered from a local power supply in the TDM mode, It may be powered locally or via PoE when used in the IP (CorNet-IP) mode.
The optiPoint 600 uses the same local power supply available for the optiPoint 500 and optiset E families.

1. Power over LAN as per PRE 802.3af standard (unused pairs) -in CorNet IP mode only

optiPoint 600 office Class 0 (12 W maximum)
-up to (before) S30817-S7504-A101-27 artic
-up to (before) S30817-S7504-A107-22 mangan

Pre-standard IEEE 802.3a/f PowerDsine power hubs (unused pairs) -Yes
IEEE 802.3af mid span (unused pairs) -Yes /as provided by the current and pre-Standard power hubs
IEEE 802.3af end span (used pairs) -NO /as provided by all data vendors from their Ethernet switches (including CISCO)
Cisco Power over LAN (unused pairs) -Yes /inline power as installed in many older Ethernet switches.

2. Power over LAN as per 802.3af standard (used pairs and unused pairs) -in CorNet IP mode only

optiPoint 600 office Class 0 (12 W maximum)
artic S30817-S7504-A101-27 and later
mangan S30817-S7504-A107-22 and later

NOTICES:

Not all of these are supported on every phone.
• Pre-standard IEEE 802.3af PowerDsine power hubs with spare pairs
• IEEE 802.3af mid span (spare pairs) as provided by the current PowerDsine hubs (as well as PowerDsine pre-standard)
• IEEE 802.3af end span (used pairs) as provided by all data vendors from their Ethernet switches (including Cisco)
• The Cisco pre-standard (used pair) inline power as installed in many older Ethernet switches.
Cisco pre-802.3af standard phones require the use of a cross-over cable from IEEE 802.3af compliant switch (like Cisco 2600-PWR) to their device.

What PoE devices are NOT compatible?
These devices are dependent on the polarity of the DC voltage (a violation of the 802.3af standard).
Not all PoE devices are necessarily IEEE 802.3af compliant. Early versions of IP Phones, though they may accept power over the Ethernet cable using their own Mid-Span Power devices, may only accept power over the Non-Data Pairs of wires (Category 5 cable, pins 4/5 and 7/8 ) . The 802.3af specification clearly states that Power Devices MUST accept power over either Data Pairs (1/2 and 3/6) or the non-data pairs. Furthermore, a compliant device must also be 'insensitive' to polarity, meaning that it should power up to either +50VDC or -50VDC.

IEEE 802.3af
Two modes, A and B, are available. Mode A delivers phantom power on the data pairs of 100BASE-TX or 10BASE-T. Mode B delivers power on the spare pairs. PoE can also be used on 1000BASE-T Ethernet in which case, there are no spare pairs and all power is delivered using the phantom technique.
