Advanced Line Settings
The advanced line settings only need to be modified if your SIP provider...
- uses different registration and proxy server names, or
- uses different outbound and proxy server names, or
- uses different domain names and proxy server names.
Register Server
This is the server with which you register your SIP line.
Register with the specified server - register the SIP line using the same server as the SIP proxy.
Register with a different server - specify another register server.
Do not register with any server - select this option if you do not want your SIP line to be registered any more. Note if you have already registered your SIP line previously, SIP providers normally keep your line registered with their servers for about an hour, so your line will still work for that period of time (gateway SIP providers will keep it for much less time, around 30 seconds in some cases).
Outbound Server
This is the server where you send all data to when registering your SIP line and conducting phone calls.
Use the specified server as the outbound server - use the SIP proxy server as the outbound server.
Use a different outbound server - specify another outbound server.
Do not use an outbound server - select this option to disable the outbound proxy. This will essentially disable your SIP line, as you will not be able to send data anywhere on a LAN or the Internet.
Default Domain
When you make phone calls, if you do not specify a server name in the number you are dialling, this name will be appended to the number (e.g. if you type 423 then Express Talk will dial 423@[domain name]).
Use the specified server as default domain - use the SIP proxy server name as the SIP domain.
Use a different default domain - specify another SIP domain.
Click "Restore Defaults" if you want to rollback any changes that you have made to the Advanced Line Settings dialog.
Das verstehe ich leider überhaupt nicht
