    [INFO] Inside HorstBox Std (DVA-G3342SD)

    Mal einige Bilder und ein paar Kommentare zur neuen D-Link HorstBox Standard (DVA-G3342SD - die Modellbezeichnung unterscheidet sich nur in einem Buchstaben von der HorstBox Professional DVA-G3342SB).

    Die Box kommt im normalen D-Link-Gehäuse daher, und ist ca 15% grösser als eine Fritz!Box.





    An der Rückseite schön zu sehen (von links nach rechts): WLAN-Antenne, ADSL-Port, externer PSTN-Port (analog, ISDN), interner S0-Port, die beiden a/b-Ports, 2x USB, 4-Port LAN-Switch, Reset-Taster, Schalter für WLAN sowie Stromanschluss.



    Wie gewohnt ist bei D-Link wieder mal alles an Kabeln und Adaptern im Karton mit dabei.



    Wir wären hier aber nicht im IPPF wenn wir das Gerät nicht gleich seziert hätten Voila! Die HB Standard mit offenem Deckel.



    Rot: WLAN, Braun: Switch mit Infineon-Chip, Gelb: 2xUSB mit NEC USB2.0-Chip, Grün: analoge Teilnehmerschnittstellen (schön zu sehen mit Rufstromrelais), Blau: Infineon-CPU mit RAM und Flash, Violett: S0 intern/extern, analoges Amt, Türkis: DSL.

    WLAN-Platine WMP-G09 (von D-Link/Alpha Networks)







    Übrigens wieder mit 2 Antennenanschlüssen, interessanterweise ist die eingebaute Antenne an den Aux-Anschluss (und nicht an den Main-Anschluss) angesteckt.

    Auch eine serielle Konsole ist freundlicherweise direkt herausgeführt, mit der gleichen Belegung die die von Herta in der HorstBox Professional.

    Unspektakulär - irgendwie sind nur Infineon-Chips in der HB Standard verbaut; anscheinend ein Referenz-Design von Infineon (siehe PDF).
