Samba: Direktes öffnen funktioniert nicht. Kopieren schon

Hallo,


ich beobachte seit dem neuen Samba Release die Erscheinung, dass ich von einem USB-Stick via Samba ein File nicht direkt öffnen kann (Weder mit WinRAR noch VLC). Das herunterkopieren der Datei auf die Festplatte jedoch funktioniert und die Datei lässt sich lokal normal öffnen und ist auch korrekt. Ich hab in dem Ordner bereits volle Rechte erteilt (777) auch dem Überordner. Dennoch funktioniert es nicht.

Wisst ihr da zufällig mehr?

Was genau heißt "nicht direkt öffnen"?
Wenn man die Datei lesen kann (zum kopieren), ist de Zugriff über Samba möglich.
Und kannst Du diese Kopie direkt öffnen?

Schau mal hier: Probleme mit Freetz Samba 3.0.37

Dein Problem kann ich bestätigen. Es lassen sich keine Filme über Samba starten von der USB-Platte aus. Ebenfalls lassen sich keine Dateien direkt bearbeiten, aber kopieren, löschen u.s.w. geht.

Wenn Du mich meinst, dann kann ich das erst Morgen beantworten da meine 7270 z.Z. mit der Stabile-1.1 wegen der Bilder bestückt ist, aber wenn ich Morgen wieder am PC sitze werde ich den aktuellen Trunk mit dem neuen Samba wieder auf die Box flaschen.
Vielleicht kann ich dann helfen.
 
Ich habe gerade ein smbd mit Debug-Informationen erstellt, aber gdb auf diesen smbd ist wohl zuviel für meine Box. Auf eine 7270 hat man da eher Chancen.
 
Wenn Du mir sagst was ich machen muß teste ich es gerne Morgen für Dich / Euch.
 
Schau zuerst mal, ob Du tatsächlich solche Einträge im Log hast.
Wenn ja, dann ändere in source/target-mipsel_uClibc-0.9.29/samba-3.0.37/source/Makefile in Zeile ca. 23 "CFLAGS= -Os ..." nach "CFLAGS= -g ...". Dann "make samba-clean; make samba-precompiled" und die Datei source/target-mipsel_uClibc-0.9.29/samba-3.0.37/source/bin/smbd auf die Box (bzw. den external Speicher) bringen, außerdem den gdb aus source/toolchain/target/gcc-4.3.3-uClibc-0.9.29/gdb-6.8-target/gdb/gdb.
Eine Verbindung zum Samba aufbauen, mit "netstat -ntp|grep smbd" herausfinden, welcher Prozeß die Verbindung hat. Dann gdb starten, "attach PID" eingeben, mit der Prozeßnummer von vorhin. Dann "c" wie continue, den gleichen Zugriff wiederholen, der vorher zum Fehler führte. Samba sollte dann im gdb angehalten sein. Im gdb dann "where" eingeben. Hoffen, daß die Angaben hilfreich sind.

Vielleicht besser vorher in der Samba-Config den Log-Level hochsetzen "log level = 10" und schauen, ob da etwas sinnvolles herauskommt.

Es war auch etwas spät in der Nacht. Schau erstmal, ob Du mit überhaupt Meldungen im Log bekommst. Wenn ja, setze mal den log-level schrittweise hoch und schau, was dann kommt.

Der Rest war so gedacht:
1. ändere in source/target-mipsel_uClibc-0.9.29/samba-3.0.37/source/Makefile in Zeile ca. 23 "CFLAGS= -Os ..." nach "CFLAGS= -g ...".
2. "make samba-clean; make samba-precompiled"
3. Die Datei source/target-mipsel_uClibc-0.9.29/samba-3.0.37/source/bin/smbd auf die Box (bzw. den external Speicher) bringen
4. Die Datei source/toolchain/target/gcc-4.3.3-uClibc-0.9.29/gdb-6.8-target/gdb/gdb auf die Box (bzw. den external Speicher) bringen

Vielleich hilft es Euch weiter.

Wärend der Teste mußte ich sogar meine Fritzbox neu starten da sie nicht mehr per WebIF erreichbar war. Ebenso hat es den PC geblockt. Den Win-Explorer mußte ich sogar über den Taskmanager beenden.
 
OK, und nu ?

VLC bringt gleich einen Fehler / Fehlermeldung und beim öffnen eines Bildes per Nero Photo Viewer geht nix mehr.

So sieht das ganze bei mir aus.

Wie ist das denn mit der /mod/etc/smbpasswd? Die wird von smbpasswd aus der /var/tmp/smbpasswd.cleartext erstellt. Wo kommt die denn her? Wird die von AVM erstellt?
Da steht bei mir nämlich nur der boxusr80 drin.

Mir ist auch aufgefallen, daß Samba da häufig die smbpasswd Datei liest.
Kannst Du versuchen, den guest account in smb.conf auf den existierenden boxusr80 zu ändern, oder die Zeile in smbpasswd zu kopieren und auf ftpuser zu ändern?

Woher kommt denn ftpuser, wenn im Protokoll boxusr80 steht? Kann es sein, daß beide die gleiche Nummer haben? Oder der boxusr80 nicht mehr existiert?
Wie sieht denn Deine smbpasswd aus, wenn Du als Paßwort "test" nimmst?
Und reichen die Zugriffsrechte auf alle Teile des Pfades, oder ist irgendwo dazwischen ein Verzeichnis wo Rechte fehlen?

Ah, passiert nur für die ext2/ext3 mounts und nicht für FAT. Das scheint aber momentan das ganz normale "Problem" mit der Unix-Rechteverwaltung zu sein.
