I have installed Asterisk 1.4 in my fritz box 7170(RAM version). Now I want to edit /etc/asterisk/sip.conf but it is Readonly and I can't save after editing.
when I list file with ls -l /etc/asterisk
# ls -l /var/asterisk14/etc/asterisk/sip.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3869 Oct 20 2008 /var/asterisk14/etc/asterisk/sip.conf
This mean sip.conf is writeable for root user but still I can't edit it and save.
I have tried vi and nvi, but result is same that i can't save modified files.
