DX800A mit iPhone 5

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe bisher das DX800A mit meinem iPhone 4 (iOS 5) genutzt, da ich wie die meisten wahrscheinlich auch ne mobilfunk flat habe.

Nun habe ich diese woche das iPhone 5 (iOS 6) bekommen und es natürlich gleich mit dem DX800A gekoppelt doch dann kam die ernüchterung.

Wenn ich einen Anruf für das iPhone 5 am DX800A annehme dann zeigt das Display des DX800A Anruf Beendet und das iPhone schaltet auf den internen lautsprecher um.

Bei einem ausgehendem Anruf funktioniert es allerdings bisher ohne probleme.

Hat hier evtl. jemand einen Tip für mich oder vielleicht dasselbe problem?

Da schliesse ich mich mal an, ich habe das gleiche Problem wie Timo. Wenn jemand einen Tip hat wäre ich auch sehr dankbar.

Mich würde interessieren ob es an der iOS Version liegt oder am Gerät selbst.

Aber hab leider nur nen iPhone 4 mit iOS 5x und nen iPhone 5 mit iOS 6

Es funktioniert mit iPhone 4 und IOS 5 oder auch IOS 6. Das 5er hat IOS 6 und es geht nicht. Habe heute auch noch ein 4S einmal mit IOS5 und dann mit IOS6 getestet. Auch ohne Probleme.
Es scheint irgendwas mit der Bluetooth Schnittstelle im 5er jetzt anders zu sein.

Hallo zusammen.

Bei mir genau die selbe Konstellation:
- DX800A mit aktueller Firmware
- iPhone4 mit iOS5 / iOS6: FUNKTIONIERT
- iPhone5 mit iOS6: DX800A klingelt, ich hebe ab, ca. 1 Sekunde Verbindung, danach geht das Gespräch auf das iPhone über und Gigaset sagt "Bitte auflegen"...

Ist schon wirklich sehr ärgerlich. Hoffentlich kommt da bald ein Update für das Gigaset raus, welches den Fehler behebt. Will nicht mein iPhone4 extra für "zu Hause" behalten... Grmpf!

Mich würde ja interessieren wer zuerst nen Update bringt das auch Abhilfe schafft.
Theoretisch sollte ja Apple Abhilfe schaffen oder? Schließlich geht es ja mit dem iPhone 4.

Wendet man sich hier jetzt an Apple oder Gigaset? Ich befürchte man tut sich bei beiden schwer
Ne anständige Reaktion zu bekommen...

Soll wohl bald nen iOS Update kommen vielleicht bringt das ja was aber ich glaub es fast nich.

Hab auch schon mehrmals gelesen das viele das Problem mit Autoradios haben sollen...

Deadlock

(Entschuldigung, ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch!)

DX800A klingelt, ich hebe ab, ca. 1 Sekunde Verbindung, danach geht das Gespräch auf das iPhone über

I have reported this problem (and a worse problem, where receiving a call causes the Gigaset to reboot) to Gigaset a couple of times over 3-4 months. Their latest response was extremely frustrating!

From Gigaset customer service:

"this is an issue that Gigaset alone cannot resolve. Apple's iOS is a rather specific and closed ecosystem that represents a compatibility issue for a number of manufacturers. Without the help from Apple, there's only so much that we can do. There are numerous cell phone manufacturers and, up until now, the only company whose products have showed some serious compatibility issues is Apple. There is a new software update for an iPhone every few months, with a potential of causing incompatibility, and Gigaset simply cannot keep up when a single company, albeit one of the biggest ones in the market, decides to change the software."

I am a little bit sympathetic ... but surely the Bluetooth standard is sufficiently mature by now that Gigaset should be able to get this working?

We are stuck in a deadlock! I think this is Gigaset's responsibility to resolve. They need to talk to Apple.

Hallo zusammen,

das heutige iOS Update 6.1 hat das Problem dann wohl behoben... (zumindest bei mir und einem ersten Test!)

Nachdem ich letzte Woche ebenfalls per Mail mit Gigaset Kontakt aufgenommen hatte und der Support mich auch nur vertrösten konnte, wollte ich schon fast nicht mehr an ein glückliches Zusammenspiel zwischen meinem DX800A und dem iPhone5 glauben.

Heute kam dann jedoch das Update von Apple, dann dachte ich "probier's doch nochmal aus" und siehe da: FUNKTIONIERT !!!!!

The discussed problem between iPhone5 and Gigaset "link2mobile" phones seems to be solved with the iOS Update 6.1 !!!!

Thank you very much for finding out that the phone works with 6.1.

There is still one bug (although that has been there for a long time): if you cancel the call on the iPhone, the Gigaset rings forever. I will report that to Gigaset as a bug.

However at last we are able to connect our handset to the Gigaset system again which is great.
