[Problem] FB7390 Reboot per Crontab funktioniert nicht mehr seit Fritz!OS 06.20

Hallo,

ich suche schon seit einiger Zeit im Netz nach einer Lösung meines Problems!

Ich habe eine Fritzbox 7390 im Moment mit Fritz!OS 06.23.
Seit Frritz!OS 06.20 funktioniert der Reboot per Crontab wie folgt bei der Box nicht mehr:
30 04 * * * /sbin/reboot

Die Box fährt bis zu einem gewissen Punkt herunter und fährt aber nicht weiter runter. Die Internetverbindung wird abgeschalten und das war es dann.
Dann muss ich den Stecker ziehen und Sie fährt wieder normal hoch!

Bis Fritz!OS 06.03 ging das jedoch ohne Probleme!

Kann mir jemand bei meinem Problem helfen, da ich einen Software Reboot, gegenüber einer manuelen Zeitschaltuhr bevorzuge!

Da das ja im Prinzip dasselbe ist wie beim manuellen Restart per Kommandozeile ... wo klemmt es denn am Ende? Das kannst Du ja dann in einer Telnet-Session noch ziemlich gut sehen (notfalls einen Telnet-Daemon unter anderem Namen starten, damit der nicht zu früh gekillt wird).

Eigentlich werden ja nur diverse Prozesse einer nach dem anderen beendet und dann klappt's auch irgendwann mal mit dem Restart - wenn das tatsächlich hängt, ist bei mir gerne mal "dsl_monitor" zuständig gewesen ... aber eigentlich auch nie in einer originalen Firmware von AVM.

Wenn Du einen Teil der Aufgaben im Rahmen des Restarts (eigentlich nur das Dismount für gemountete r/w-Volumes, außer tmpfs, dem ist es Bummi) selbst ausführst, kannst Du die Box auch ohne den Prozess der Abarbeitung von /var/post_install im Handumdrehen neu starten, wenn Du das richtige Zeichen nach /proc/sysrq-trigger schreibst ... da hält nichts und niemand mehr die Box von einem Restart ab. Allerdings würden eben noch gemountete Volumes mit Schreibzugriff u.U. beschädigt und auch den ctlmgr sollte man vorher besser beenden, damit da nicht gerade ein Schreibzugriff ins TFFS stattfindet (auch wenn das theoretisch "transactional" sein sollte, nach dem was man so liest). Aber um auch wirklich die Volumes sauber dismounten zu können, müssen natürlich erst einmal alle Prozesse mit Zugriff auf diese Volumes beendet werden. Eigentlich ist das auch schon alles, was da in /var/post_install erfolgt.
 
Danke für Deine Antwort! Leider verstehe ich zu wenig von dem was Du mir schreibst! Kannst Du mir event. Telenet Kommandos oder für Freetz irgendwelche Kommandos geben, die ich dort eintragen soll?
 
Könnte ich, will ich aber nicht ... es hängt - wie geschrieben - davon ab, wo der Neustart ins Stocken gerät.

Wie wäre es denn als erstes mal mit einem Telnet-überwachten Neustart? Wenn dabei nichts zu sehen ist, kann man als nächsten über einen Telnet-Daemon nachdenken, der sich nicht "telnetd" nennt und daher beim Stoppen auch nicht erfaßt wird und so etwas länger leben könnte, als der von "telefon" gestartete.

funktioniert zwar mit hoher Sicherheit, kann aber sowohl TFFS- als auch NAND- und USB-Inhalte zerstören. Also bitte erst denken und dann anwenden ... wer richtig denkt, braucht davor noch ca. 20-30 Befehle zum Dismounten der Volumes.

Da hast Du Dir die Mühe gemacht, das zu finden, was ich eigentlich gesucht habe.

Ich hatte nicht mal im Ansatz/im Traum damit gerechnet, daß der Fragesteller das gesamte Log anstelle der Auszüge zum Restart eingestellt hat und das auch noch alles innerhalb von 5 Minuten ablief. Daher hatte ich gar nicht gesehen, daß ich mit dem Dismounten und der Vermutung, daß es dort klemmt, ja richtig lag.

Das funktioniert nur dann, wenn irgendwo noch ein Wachhund vor sich hin heult und irgendwann die Box dann hart neu startet.

Bei TE dürfte das Stoppen des Syslog-Daemons (durch passenden Zusatz zur /var/post_install) der bessere Weg sein, vor allem wird dann tatsächlich die offene Datei auf dem USB-Stick ordnungsgemäß geschlossen.

Zum Testen, obs wirklich daran liegt, einfach mal vor dem Neustart beenden (den syslogd).

Vielleicht ein Skript von crond in /var/tmp starten lassen, zum "sauberen" Beenden, am Ende dessen dann: reboot

Trotzdem solltest du nicht mit der Konsole (ssh/telnet) auf dem USB-Speicher "rumhängen".
Vorher mindestens ein: cd /var/tmp

Wenn's dann an dem Syslog-Daemon liegt, würde ich eher unmittelbar nach seinem Start (der kommt ja auch nicht aus dem Nichts, da muß ja irgendjemand dran drehen) noch das Beenden des Daemons in die /var/post_install mit einbauen:

Das geht allerdings beim Firmware-Update in die Hose, da AVM wohl inzwischen generell die post_install wieder aus der /var.tar restauriert nach einem Firmware-Upload (und ggf. auch nach einigen anderen Aktionen, bei denen ein tar-File in /var entpackt wurde). Wenn man das auch noch absichern will, muß man sich an "prepare_fwupgrade" anhängen.

Der einfachste Weg wäre es natürlich (keine Ahnung, wie und in welchem Umfang der TE seine Firmware modifiziert), gleich in die post_install in /var.tar einen passenden Hook für ein benutzereigenes Skript einbaut, in dem man dann hinter sich aufräumen kann, wenn man die Firmware modifiziert hat. Wenn dieses Skript dann in einem beschreibbaren Filesystem liegt, kann man daran auch dynamisch ändern.
 
So funktioniert der reboot unter crontab jetzt.

Ergibt sich also beim ersten Mount-Versuch für den NAND-Flash ein Fehler, wird kurzerhand der NAND-Flash erst einmal gelöscht und anschließend (wie nach Recovery) neu eingerichtet.

Wie hoch die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines solchen Fehlers ist, wenn man das Filesystem nicht ordentlich mit "umount" aushängt (dafür muß dann eben auch alles darunter ausgehangen sein), muß jeder für sich selbst einschätzen. Ein "sync" wird sich das "reboot"-Kommando vermutlich noch abringen, bevor die Box neu gestartet wird (ich prüfe das jetzt aber auch nicht, nehme es einfach nur an), insofern sollte wenigstens noch das geschrieben werden, was in irgendwelchen Buffern noch anhängig ist.
 
Was gibt´s dann für alternativen?
Der Systemlog auf den UStor01 ist von mir aktiviert, um Info´s zu bekommen!
Auch wenn ich das Log abschalte, fährt die Box nicht runter!
Wie komme ich an die Info, wo diese hängen bleibt?
 
Nur damit ich das richtig verstehe ... Du hast, um dem Problem des Hängenbleibens beim Reboot auf die Spur zu kommen, einen zusätzlichen Dienst gestartet, der dann noch früher den Reboot-Prozess lahmgelegt hat?

Warum versuchst Du es dann nicht einmal mit dem Loggen ins Netzwerk anstelle einer Datei?

Die Möglichkeit der Telnet-Session habe ich ja schon mehrfach angetextet ... dem ist nicht so sehr viel hinzuzufügen, solange Du nicht die serielle Schnittstelle Deiner Box bestückt hast.

Ich hoffe Ihr könnt damit was anfangen!
 
Irgendwas seitens des DECT-Teils hängt am Ende und beendet sich nicht ordentlich, sondern geht in eine CPU-Schleife über (wenn die von avm_dect_thread verursacht wurde).

Probiere mal vor dem Reboot in der Telnet-Session ein "killall telefon" abzusetzen um festzustellen, ob das das Problem etwas entschärft. Auch ein "aha -s" ist einen Test wert, anschließend darf der aha-Daemon nicht mehr in der Prozessliste stehen.

Nun sind ja die Informationen zu Deiner Umgebung ohnehin sehr spärlich ... hast Du irgendwelche DECT-Geräte (also Telefone oder AHA-Geräte) im Einsatz?

Du bist Dir auch sicher, daß der Neustart nicht am Ende durch irgendwelche anderen Mods beeinträchtigt wird? Ich habe bisher Zebradem eigentlich nur im Zusammenhang mit Card-Servern auf dem Schirm.

Da die in der Regel auch Sockets öffnen und der Absturz bzw. das Hängenbleiben des DECT-Threads irgendwo beim Warten auf das Beenden eines Socket-Servers erfolgt (meine Interpretation der Tatsache, daß da Funktionen wie KsockPacketPoolDeinit/KsockTcpDeinit auftauchen, die ihrerseits dann kthread_stop aufrufen, was dann irgendwie in __mutex_lock_slowpath vermutlich die 120 Sekunden verbringt, weil der Mutex nicht frei ist/wird), würde ich auch einen Zusammenhang mit irgendwelcher CS-Software (nachdem der USB-Stack offenbar abgeräumt wurde) in Form eines Deadlocks nicht ausschließen.

Also gilt für dieses Forum meines Wissens erst einmal: Das Ganze noch einmal von vorne, mit einem Image ohne CardSharing-Software. Sollte ich mit meiner Einschätzung bzgl. Zebradem falsch liegen, darfst Du mich gerne korrigieren.
 
Es läuft ein DEB Image drauf, jedoch ohne aktiviertem CS.

Ich hatte dies jetzt aktuell erst aufgespielt zum Test, nach dem ich selbst schon mehrere Images selbst kombiliert hatte, ohne CS!
Auch da hatte ich das Problem mit dem reboot! Deshalb der Test mit dem DEB Image.

Jetzt ist mir gerade folgendes passiert: Ich wollte zum Test alle Dienste abschalten und habe aus versehen den ineted Dienst abgeschalten und somit
ist auch mein freetz web-if aus!

Kannst Du mir einen Telnet Startbefehl nennen um den ineted Dienst wieder zu starten?

Kann dann gerne ein Eigenbau Freetz-Image draufspielen, da ich den CS-Kram sowieso nicht auf der Fritte nutze und dieser mich selbst nur stört!
