Dear FRITZ!Box users,
I owe an int. f7390, which operates with FRITZ!OS 06.20 and freetz devel-13097 ( from trunk ).
Under " USB Devices " I do see the USB device got indentified as " DYMO DYMO LabelWriter 450 - USB printers Status: Ready ".
So in theory I should be able to use the label writer as a network device ...
Unfortunately I cannot find the " printer " in the network, neither smb ( stipped from OS6 onwards ) or direct TCP/IP ( fritz.box ) on my win8.1 laptop.
Enabling the USB Remote connection for printers gives troubles downloading the software ( javascript not enabled? )
It would be great if the " DYMO Printer utility " can find the labelwriter.
So that let me believe something can be done using freetz, my best guess is to compile in samba 3.6.x and share the printer in the network: any suggestions to make this work in freetz sharing the printer through smb?
