Hello, is it possible to use a Fritz!Box 7050 as a client of a WLAN network without using WDS ? My new VDSL router does not do WDS and I would like to connect a computer without WLAN using my FritzBox as well as use its VOIP capabilities in the other room. Thanks for your help

Hello Chris, I had the same problem. It seems that the ethernet card has to be in a particular state. I succeded with an old PC with win2000. One way I managed to make it work was to first start the recover tool from AVM. This tool disables autosenssing on the card. Then as described above...

Hello telefonicus, reading you post that help me a lot I fond a few inconsinstancies, YOu set the box to be Annex B and english and you upload an annex A english ?? Is this normal ? I dod not do this, I tried to keep consistency between the settings and the recover version.

Hello Dragonfighter, use at you own risk. I spent 24hours to get my FB back up after messing one parameter. YOu then use the firmware that correspond to the settings you just entered. That would be as of today the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7050 (Annex B) Firmware Version 14.04.20 from AVM. Good luck
