I tried with and without replace kernel. I did not use external. With both it boots, but the WLAN led isn't lighting up. With both, I can access the freetz WebIf, but not the avm interface. After about a minute it automatically reboots. I've attached the syslog, don't know if that's enough...

I had to recover the box. My Freetz setup works fine as long as I don't use "replace kernel". If I do, the power/DSL led just keeps blinking indefinitely and the AVM web-interface is unreachable. Thank you, olistudent.

Currently Freetz uses avm firmware version 99.04.90 for the 7340. Could/will Freetz be made compatible with the new 7340 firmware (because right now it obviously isn't)?

RalfFriedl, perhaps you misunderstood me? I meant I changed the version of the source files, not the source files themselves. I did that because the version that worked, i.e. "04.91" wasn't available anymore.

At first I tried to compile with my existing checkout but I kept getting a libgd error so I eventually did a "distclean" and when that didn't work I checked out a fresh trunk.

I've got iptables running on my 7340. However, when clicking on "EDIT FIREWALL RULES" on the NHIPT page it asks for a username/password. Is there a default username/password? I tried my freetz-webif login data, but those didn't work and I just get a "ACCESS DENIED FROM IP: ....". Am I missing...
