For the KPN STB (Motorola 1960/1963 / interactieveTV) is a VLAN required. I could imagine xs4all, a subsidiary of KPN, uses the same technology. Could some PM to me a copy of an ar7cfg (international) with the xs4all template?

Yes, I have through FBEditor altered the ar7cfg - with the additional configuration of mcupstream = "internet", "voip", "iptv"; During intialisation, the definition for the iptv target is determined to be invalid. Perhaps the target types are hardcoded in the parser. Further, it is not...

Not what it says on the tin Right. It still 'fits' the topic because a physical port, ethn, is necessary for adding a VLAN. Thus, I followed the 'how-to' using FBeditor, and upon rewriting the ar7cfg, the changes to eth values were reversed by the configuration analyser tooling. Suggestions?

Some years later... AVM has released code that permits adjusting the VLAN for VDSL F!Bs (7340/60/90) in the 05.24 image. But as of this penning, the eth0 cannot be split and a VLAN set on an ethn interface for IPTV (my ISP, KPN, uses VLAN 4). Interestingly, AVM is an OEM to a daughter...

Here too, a similar issue with 7360 (DE) directly connected to KPN's (NL) VDSL2 stream. The OS is 05.50 which offers a second VLAN for VoIP in the web interface which could be used for IPTV *if* I could find the CLI command to bridge that targets entry to an Ethernet (ethn) port. I have...
