By some days avm has published some new FW for international version of the 7270,7170,7140, while support in freetz for new german FW is very fast (Ao1 labour and more), the international FW support for these models is still on old FW. This is just to say, probably none has yet seen these new. MFG

Just a question more, how do i push the FW on fritz?! I have done it on a speedport w701v, is the same way on the 7240? Moreover the image file is for freetz 1.0.1 8.911.880bytes for trunk 2858 is 8.625.160bytes. Now i go to try to load it again...

Yes i have to... I have looked at 7140 en version patches and they seem really the same as the 7170 de... Now i wonder what i should change... Moreover i have noticed that the MOD FW created does not read fat32 disks... Any idea (it can be on account of the vfat patch?)? Thanks!

Yes! You are in right! Well i have done some other trials... I have disabled all packages, and also not using "kernel replace" now it works! Seems me that something between VirtualIP, Tor, Vproxy and mini_fo gives some troubles to the box... Without these packages loads the FW...

Sure! Here is the attached .config file with "replace kernel" enabled, the firmware results well compiled but once i load on the box it doesn't work (the router starts, hangs and restarts by itself). Without "replace kernel" , but nothing different, the box gives an unknown error... Thanks...

Positive results, S/N Ratio is enough better on the same DSL line, connect capacity passes by 2-3Mbps up to 8 Mbps. I will post screenshoots taken with various trial (various original FW and modded one).

Because i use a Fritz 7170 with version .40 converted in Annex A and the DSL sync show a S/N Ratio that isn't great. The International FW (mounted on converted annex b) seems to have a small better S/N ratio, so i would like to change dsl deamon and dsl drivers on .40 version substituting them...
