[INFO] Update des Bootcodes bei Siemens (Efficient Networks) 5xxx-Modellen wie 5851

Wenn man das 5851-0xx.5380.bin File als Firmwareupdate einspielt, dann hat der Router ja danach
Efficient-5000 BOOT/POST V7.3.1 (29-Oct-01 10:39)


Hat schon mal jemand den Boot Code eines 5851 auf eine höhere Version erfolgreich aktualisiert? Aktuell müsste irgendetwas mit V8.1.6 sein...

Jetzt gibt es ja zumindest eine Version V7.7.13
für die 120-5861 Modelle (ob der auch für die 120-5851 Modelle geht?)

Ich habe es jetzt mal versucht. Zwar kann man das Bootcode-Image auf den 5851 raufkopieren. Nach dem nächsten Neustart kommt dann aber die Meldung, dass das Image nicht zum 5851 passt:
