Is there an option to change the firmware from German to English language ?

Hi,

yes that is possible, but you have to change the branding of the box to avme and use an international firmware. You can use the ruKernelTool to do that. But this tool is german language and i don´t know if it is possible to change language.

Where I can find the EN firmware for my device ? Should I make sure it is for version 1 ?

BTW: I do not need to change the Annex while I am not using fritz as a internet router for my LAN.

I think, an international firmware for the v1 ist not available. I cannot find it in the database under ftp.avm.de. Only the v2- and v3-versions of the 7270 are existing.
