FB 7270 tweaks to improve SYNC speed?

Hi everyone, i have to post this in English, cause my German is not good enough for technical terms.

I have a Fritz!box 7270 V1, firmware 54.04.88.
My line is 24 Mbits UP, 1 Mbit Down but my house is far from the exchange, so as expected sync is much lower.
The Fritz!box always synced around 6.2 - 6.5 Mbits Up and 1 Mbit Down.

This weekend i tested a Siemens router (a cheap one given for free from various providers) and to my surprise i saw that it ALWAYS synced around 10-11 Mbits and it was stable as a rock. I tortured it to see if it looses sync but NO, it stayed stable.
Same line, same time, exchanged the routers several times, and always had the same difference.

As i can not accept that a 2-cents router has a better quality modem than the Fritz!box, i ask:

Is there some tweaks i can try to force the Fritz!box to sync more "aggressively" (there are no settings to tweak in the stock firmware).
I searched a lot and read some posts about "ControlBitField" settings etc. Tried some with FBEditor, NO effect.

Any help appreciated.

Gives me a solid 9+ Mbis sync from 6-6.5, with only 1 or 2 CRC's (i had CRC's with the "safe" defaults also).

Not bad...
