The Thread is collecting basic information on any kind of FRITZbox - especially the "hardware revision number" (HWRevision). This number is one of the basic parameters required to do major changes of firmware- and annex versions especially changing from German AVM menu to English AVME -if there exists tecnically such possibility.
The Thread gathered quite a few data - but mainly for originally (German) Annex-B-Boxes. So I'm calling on all our international users to help completing this Thread with more HWR numbers for "international" (Annex A) boxes: HWR-numbers are urgently required for ORIGINALLY ANNEX-A-boxes, i.e International = English and German firmware-versions AVME or D-A-CH
The easiest way to find out HWR number is to make a support data file of the box typing into a web browser "http://fritz.box/html/support.html". This generates an archive "support.txt". When you open this with a standard text editor (i.e. wordpad, notepad) you get all the tecnical data of your FRITZ. In one of the first lines you find HWR number.
Please post this number informing additionally on FRITZ model, Annex and actual firmware version.
