FBF 7170 (7050) - IS WLAN (WiFi/WDS) CLIENT MODE POSSIBLE? INTERNET through WIFI... I try Repeater mode/WDS and not work :-(

MAC-Adresse der Basisstation: i type MAC of MAIN AP, same channel, open access, same subnet...

... and NOT WORK ... ( i try not last firmware, maybe any differences between fw versions? )

Please clarify me this mode...

Is possible connect FBF 7050 and/or 7170

1) through WLAN Client or WDS Repeater

or only

2) LAN1 or DSL ?

No. Not possible.

I'm WDS between a FBF 7170 and a FBF 7050 must work. I've successfully set up WDS-connections between FBFs 7050 and FBFs classic.

Have you activated WDS on the master (FBF 7170) and entered the MAC of the WDS-slave (FBF 7050), too? You need to activate WDS on both devices and set one as "Basisstation" and the other as "Repeater".
Have you assigned IP-addresses from the same subnet?

No, i have master as Asus WL500g, Channel 1, Open Access

FBF7170 connect to master AP in WDS mode only, if master is AVM MAC?

Connect to WL500 is definitive not possible? Any hack not work?

If not possible, i must set up LAN UTP Cable :-(

I don't have any experience with FBFs as slaves on third-party-masters, but that isn't a good idea anyway, as the WLAN would be unencrypted.
