freetz for 7140 and packages

hi.
i am new to the area and i need some help.
i do have a fritz 7140 international edition annex A
and i need to install some packages.
i am trying to find a way to install the following three without success:
ssh (dropbear)
asterisk (i could not find a freetz package)
torrent downloader.



i know that it is not possible to find an already build image, but i would like appreciate some guidance.

Hi,

You need a linux system for building(could be virtual machine) and a real(non-virtual) windows system for recovery if something goes wrong.

Download from http://trac.freetz.org the stable release, from AVM the recovery tools for your box.

Try to understand the recovery procedure upfront, probably you wont have internet if something goes wrong.

Save your box settings, build, flash.

i did manage to get the files and make the image.
the problem is that i do not know how to implement asterisk in the image.

It looks like you could simply install it onto your USB Stick and run it from there. I cannot judge if this mixes with freetz or if you will be in library hell.

Asterisk is not (yet) part of Freetz.
