Sorry for not using German but English is only option for me. I am in the
middle of conversion of fritz box fon ata from german to english and I have problem loading the newest firmware.
In other topics ppl write about using recover.exe and some firmwares from 11.03.xx line, while currently the only available image on ftp.avm.de is 11.04.01. Also, there is no longer a separate recover.exe program, instead there is a consolidated exe containing the loader + firmware, unluckily it does not detect fritz nor on my laptop nor on my desktop (and is a pain in the back to use, as it reboots the pc each time it is run).
I have tried using a linux version of "recover" as found on this page: http://www.wehavemorefun.de/fritzbox/Hilfsprogramme_/_Tipps_&_Tricks and it loads the latest firmware but reports "checksum not correct" and the box is still unusable (but it is still possible to load firmwares onto it).
So I am kind of stuck, windows version does not detect my fritz box and linux version does not know how to load the image correctly. I would like to try some older version, I suspect that between 11.3 and 11.4 something relevant might have changed.
