Logs auf Fritzbox speichern

Hallo,

kann ich eigentlich auch einen syslogd oder was ähnliches auf der Box zum Loggen installieren?

Würde nämlich mal gerne so sehen, wer sich denn versucht aus dem Internet auf die Box zu connecten oder z.B. einfach nur die Ports abhört, um zu schauen, welche offen sind.

Schau mal auf der Box. Ich kann dir nicht genau sagen ob syslogd in der Standard-busybox drin ist. Im dsmod ist das auf alle Fälle drin. Ob Zugriffsversuche geloggt werden hängt natürlich vom dsld ab. Keine Ahnung ob der sowas loggen kann.

Also laufen tut der Prozess auf jeden Fall nicht bei mir.

Wie kann oder muss ich den denn nachträglich installieren?
Muss der auch über freien webspace heruntergeladen werden und dann ausgeführt werden?
 
Der syslogd ist ein Applet der busybox. Wenn die "original" busybox das nicht kann, dann musst du eine mit diesem Applet auf die Box laden.
Standardmäßig läuft der syslogd nicht.

in der aktuellen Labor-Version 29.04.28-5339 ist syslogd auf buisybox verlinkt "syslogd -> /bin/busybox" aber
# pwd
/sbin
# ./syslogd
syslogd: applet not found

Konnte den syslogd über

starten.
Denke mal, dass das dazugehörige logfile /var/log/messages ist.

Ok, einen tail auf das logfile kann ich nicht machen, weil der Befehl tail nicht bekannt ist.
Wenn ich mir das logfile aber mit more oder so anschaue, steht nur folgendes drin:

Wie kann ich denn z.B. das loglevel höher setzen und den daemon standardmäßig immer mit starten lassen?
 
Du kannst einmal den klogd noch starten. Dann gibts noch messages vom Kernel.
Für Messages bezüglich Paketen musst du den dsld neu starten (dsld -s; dsld)

Danke.

Habe nun den syslogd und den klogd gestartet und anschließend dsld neu gestartet.

Im logfile unter /var/log/messages steht nun auch mehr drin.

Habe aber dazu noch 2 Fragen:
1. Wie mache ich es am besten, dass die beiden daemons automatisch beim Booten der Box gestartet werden?
2. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, den Befehl tail auf die Box zu bekommen (um auf das logfile ein tail -f machen zu können)?

In dieser Busybox ist auch tail enthalten.
 
Ok, dann werde ich das zu Hause noch mal überprüfen, ob das eventuell nicht doch auch schon bei mir dabei ist.
 
Mmh...schade. Wäre ja auch zu einfach gewesen ;-)
