VLAN config for HBX Pro?

Hi Boys,

First sorry for my еnglish, i don't know german.
I wonder if there posible options to have another VLAN on my Horstbox (DVA-G3342SB)???
I want to use this VLAN (from 4port swich) like a beckup link (pppoe).

My DSL line is connect to adsl port on the device and thats it's ok. I have another link (canopy motorola), and i want to connect to any port of the swich and that will be my beckup link, if adsl is down.

Any idea, possibility-opportunity to do this?

Hi,

the good news is: The switch of the horst box can do this.
The bad news: You have to modify the firmware of the "herta" daughterboard.

If you want to do this I can give you my switch config program and the kernel patch (2.6.29).

Patch and utility

Hello,

I attach the patch and the utility. The patch is against kernel version 2.6.29. It shouldn't be a problem to adapt it for other versions. The important part is the new eeprom interface. The utility uses the eeprom interface to configure the switch.
