I have one problem with wake on lan (WOL) function on FRITZ!Box 7360. This is worked on previous FW now is 06.83 and partial working
My router is set to DHCP option for wake on lan, I activated option "always assign this network device the same IPv4 address" so IP is always the same. And activated option "start this computer automatically as soon as it is accessed from the internet". Open special port in "permit access" on port sharing.
On my mobile I download and use this app from play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.ralischer.wakeonlan) and set my MAC address, local or dyndns address, port active for wake on lan option (WOL packet).
And here are two scenarios.
First is OK (from local home network) but second it is not from (outside my home network - internet).
1. When I connected to my local Fritz WiFi (in home network) this scenario is OK
I sent special packet from mobile app to my PC, PC is started with special packet (WOL).
2. When I connected to internet (outside my home network) this scenario is NOK
I send special WOL packet from my mobile app (use dyndns with open port) to my router my PC is not start. I analyzed problem and as I can see problem is in "idle connection". When my PC from "active connection" goes to "idle connection" I can't start my PC from outside my network (thru dyndns and open port). I can start my PC just few minutes after shut down when is PC in "active connection" but maybe 5 minutes after that WOL not working.
Is it possible to solve this problem, and how???
