My appologies that I'm writing this in English. Since I'm not very good in writing German and don't mean to offend people here, I thought I'd rather stick to English. I can read German though, so please feel free to reply in German.
I'm trying to upgrade my 7912g phones to a SIP firmware and have been able to get version 8.0 for the 7912g (cmterm-7912-sip.8-0-0).
I've setup the TFTP server and DHCP server, installed a XMLDefault.cnf.xml and I can see that the phone is reading the file cmterm-7912-8.0.0-sip.cop. Even the display on the phone shows 'Upgrading...'.
However, when I navigate through the phone, it still shows that I have firmware version 1.02.00(031023A). Did anyone else come across this issue and has managed to solve it?
I've tried to call Cisco about this, but they claim not to be to technically inclined and referred me to the reseller. Well, I got the phones from eBay, so that's not really an option.
Thanks a lot for your reply in advance!
