Adding new package to my freetz

I have installed freetz on my 7390 fritzbox.
i now wish to add the avm-firewall feature which i need, but dont know how to do it.
I have the .image & .external i created earlier,
what do i need to do in order to just add some specific package to my current setup?
Do i need to install it all over again, or can i just create the .external with my new package and add it to the box?

You have to build a new firmware and flash it. There are references in the firmware for the external packages too. So it's not possible to only update the external image.
