ADSL synchronization

Hello,



I'm using a fritz 7270 with devel 3561 with German firmware 4.76 with Annex A firmware.

when i power on the router, the ADSL line (Annex A) do not synchronize... After some reboot of the dsl firmware it will synchronize...

Any idea about this problem?

Regarding this issue, if, in a telnet session i do:
rc.dsl.sh stop


The Fritz web Interface stops working. Any idea ?


If i do:
rc.dsl.sh start

The information that appears is for Annex B. It is normal ?

Perhaps you shouldn't ask this here. In the forum above there a many threads about "How can I change Annex". And if it only happens with Freetz we have to dig what we are doing different.

Thanks for your answer Oliver.
The issue is not related with Annex change. It change the Annex quite well.
I can say the annex is changed, since the DSL version (in DSL info page) is 1.52.32.00

If i change to Annex B, the version is 1.52.34.11

Also, the line get synchronisms sometimes in some reboots... however most of the times i cannot get it synchronized.

Let me try to explain (my English is not so good...) :
1 - The ADSL line cannot synchronize
2 - The Annex is correct for my line (Annex A)
3 - I know the Annex is correct because the DSL-version is 1.52.32.00 (AnnexB is 1.52.34.11)


Sometimes it synchronize, but if a reboot the Fritz it d'ont synchronize. Have to reboot over and over to synchronize.

Does your problem appear if you do not use freetz on your box?

To have germam with AnnexA, I must install freetz (adding the AnnexA files). I prefer German because the German firmware have more features (like 3G modems, that is important for me in some ocasions)

The box, in a 7270 16Mb from 1&1. Is it a new box that comes directly from AVM 3 months ago: HWRevision 139.1.0.6

I think in this thread you'll find the knowledge, how to use Annex A on your box without using freetz. If the problem doesn't appear without freetz, we'll have a closer look on it as oliver mentioned some posts above...
