AVM doesn't know Belgium?

Not sure if this is the right subforum, but here we go anyway...

In my International (English) Fritz!box that I bought here in Belgium, there is a setting Telephony/Regional Options where I can select the country.

However, Belgium is not in this list (it contains Netherlands, France, Spain, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and Argentina).

What country should I select? For now, I selected "Other Country".

But why does that matter?

- for ADSL protocols?
- for CLIP caller-ID protocol on analogue lines?
- for dialing numbers (country code)

My guess: mostly for CLIP country settings are important. For ADSL, the Annex A/B specifies pretty much what is needed to distinguish.
