Excuse me for using English, but I believe I can express myself better in English than in German.
I have a FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN Annex A, Firmware version 08.04.21.
The problems I am having:
1. I have already noticed a couple of times that the Telephone Book is sometimes emptied. I did not do a reset, the FBF has not been switched off, the DSL line is available 24 hours a day, no strangers have hacked into my network, but the Telephone Book is suddenly empty.
2. More importantly, and this may be the same issue, other telephone settings have disappeared as well. For example, all my settings in Settings->Telephone->Extensions are sometimes suddenly gone. This is costing me money, because then I am not calling over the internet but through my fixed line!
3. Another, completely different, issue is that CLIP does not work on an analog line in Holland. I have started a separate thread about that issue.
At the moment, I am not a very happy customer. Does anybody recognise these issues? Ignore issue 3, issue 1+2 are currently more important to me.
I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but Night Service is switched on in my FBF. I have switched it off now to see if this makes any difference.
Edit: I tried this just a few minutes ago. I set Night Service to switch WLAN off for 5 minutes. After this the phone book is not emptied, so I suppose Night Service does not have anything to do with it. I wonder what does...
