Sorry for writing in English! I have just bought (in the UK) a 7170 to replace a dead 7050.

It came with a Y-cable where the two ends (the ends remote from the Fritz end) had only two pins each. This allows connection to DSL + POTS. I need a different Y-cable for DSL + ISDN.

With help from the topics and diagrams at this site I have made a temporary cable from old network cables and connector strips, but this is fragile and I would like to have the correct cable which should have been delivered with the 7170. The supplier and the UK distributor of AVM have not responded and I do not think they understand that the box has an incorrect cable in it or what the difference is.

Does anyone have a spare Y-cable DSL + ISDN <==> Fritz 7170 ?

Hello,
have a look at this site:
http://www.avm.de/de/Service/FAQs/FAQ_Sammlung/12004.php3
The 1st picture shows the pin assignment for the original (german) Y-cable.

"DSL/Telefon-Stecker" --> FritzBox "DSL/TEL"
"Telefon-Stecker" --> NTBA (ISDN)
"DSL-Stecker" --> DSL (Splitter)
(see http://router-faq.de/index.php?id=anschluss&hw=fbfonwlan7170v2isdn)

You can build the cable yourself with the pin assignments according to "DSL/Telefon-Stecker".

I have spare (original) Y-cables.
Please PM for details.
I live in Belgium.
