Clip is not working

Hi,

First of all thanks to this useful forum. With the help of this forum I am able to convert my German 7170 to english and to anex A. I am using this router in India where internet conection with dsl is working file. But I have following problem. For SIP phones it show correctly Caller numbers i.e. Clip but for fixed line it shows Unknown. If i directly connect phone to fixed line I get caller number.Second problem is that fax functionality is not working. When I send fax on SIP number with T.38 support or on fixed line it rings the phone bell instead of sending fax as email. In regional options of telephony I have tried Germany, UK and switzerland but nothing has helped me.

It will be great if some one can help me.

Hi Rhyme!

At 1st: Welcome to this forum! :dance:

I think You got this problems:

Your modified FB is still listening to european standard DTMF sequences.
Therfore it cannot read the callers numbers correctly and shows them as "unknown".

For fixing the fax problem, try to disable T.38 functionality.

t38 can be dis/enabled for each sip-provider seperately
