DIAL options

I have in extensions.conf:

exten => 49202250xxx,1,Verbose(Incoming call Grefrath und Strategen)
exten => 49202250xxx,n,Ringing
exten => 49202250xxx,n,Set(CALLEDNUMBER="${EXTEN}")
exten => 49202250xxx,n,Dial(SIP/GUS_iphone&GUS_FRITZ,14)
exten => 49202250xxx,n,Wait(2)
exten => 49202250xxx,n,Answer()
(... now connect to the VMbox)

I had thought, that the command that follows DIAL will be executed AFTER DIAL waited 14 seconds.

It does, if there is a Ringing message from the client. In case of an error while dialing the command will skip and Asterisk proceeds with the dialplan immediately.

Please show the CLI log with verbose 3 or higher, to see what's going on there.

Would you please change the thread title to for example "Dial ignoring timeout" or anything the like. "Dial options" could easily be missunderstood.
