e164.org vs. openenum.eu

Ich habe noch nicht kapiert wofür eine Registrierung bei openenum.eu Sinn macht. e164.org wird ja eventuell vom Anbieter abgefragt, openenum.eu habe ich noch nicht gefunden.

The main difference is they seem to be a co-op or a group of companies that register your number with openenum.eu, where as with e164.org you register your own numbers, I haven't completely read the entire site on policies and what not yet.

If openenum is a success will depend on the providers, who query this tree. Till now I found no provider who queries openenum, while e164.org is used by a few. It's business, if a provider queries arpa only. I hope these provder get enough competition by providers who query org.
