echo problems.

Hi,

Sorry for not writing in English but...

I am trying to understand what options are available to enable echo suppression in Asterisk in fritz.. At the moment if a client is connecting to Fritz with Asterisk 1.2.19 on board from a remote location I am getting lots of echo.

What options are available to reduce echo for an external caller .., ping time between the 2 networks is 53 ms, so it cannot be latency...

do the external caller come from PSTN or from Internet?

My callers will all come from ISDN. I have in my capi.conf:

[general]
;rxgain=1.0 ;original ;linear receive gain (1.0 = no change)
;txgain=1.0 ;original ;linear transmit gain (1.0 = no change)
;rxgain=1.5
;txgain=1.5
rxgain=0.8 ;test hall
txgain=0.8 ;test hall

So you can test with r/txgain with that.

But as i understand you have no provider and your friend is calling you via internet directly?
