The problem exists for sipbroker and other numbers,
that starts with "*" - for example, *031-7-123456.
As far as I know, most ATA hardware devices uses "*"
as a service (reserved) symbol; so does FB.
Usually the problem is bypassed by writing a dial plan
(in device itself, or in the VoIP provider's settings on it's site).
Can you suggest first (or any other hardware) method?
There is no suitable menu in FB web interface...
if required, I do not afraid of possible telnet intrusion -
my box was 1&1 German Annex B,
and I made it AVM English Annex A
following instructions on this forum.
Of course, I can set a dial plan at provider's side,
but it is not solid.
