I have two easybox 802. I use one as default vodafone modem which is connected to internet and PC. I have another easybox 802 which I would like to use as a SIP device to configure smartvoip. How can this be done.
I have done these steps
--------
I have searched the internet, but nowhere could I find a clue as to whether and how the Vodafone Easy Box 802 can also operate as a router to the cable modem.
everywhere only "not". Well, the statement "is not" I could once again put through trials within an hour. Now my working difficulty Easy Box 802 as a router for cable internet including telephony function.
I would like to tell prospective customers exactly how it works: first First reset the Easy Box 802 durchühren (with a sharp object, press the rest button on the back). 2nd Connect after the restart and a telephone handset. It comes "Please connect your DSL cable to" third Now enter the following button combination on the phone: Enter * 8375 * (with asterisks). The box will reboot in "VDSL mode," 4th Network cable from the cable modem to LAN port 1, the network cable from one PC to another free port LAN 5th Enter 192.168.2.1 in the browser on the PC - Start screen of the Easy Box. Checkbox in the "root" as user "123456" as a password to enter sixth "Open Mode" and select "Continue" 7th The following menu to "data" and "WAN" to go. There, in a WAN Opt In: Protocol: "Routing" IP address, etc. to 0.0.0.0. let DHCP client: checkbox click 802.1Q (1p/VLAN ID) tagging to 0 . Apply . Now the cable modem and unplug it and restart EasyBox After a short time the Internet is available and works as a router
----------------
Easybox 2 is shown as DHCP client in Easy Box1. Fine.
I want to route the calls from easybox 2 to vodafone easybox1.
I am not able to ping the IP of sip.smartvoip.com in diagnolstic utility inside easybox2.
Phone -> Easybox2 -> Easybox1 -> Internet
Please help
