Sorry .. i dont understand deutch .. therefor an english question. I'v noticed lot of question about this problem. But i cant find an english text about it

i'v connected a memorystick to my 7140-International. FTP://192.168.178.1 works fine .. but is it possible to make the files availible on the usb-stick for external users? if so how .. is it possible without a hack? and is there a hack for the 7140-International

if someone can copy/pasy an english text about this .. that would also be fine

tnx for your reply:

i have an dyndns account .. there i'v linked a domainname to my external ipnumber.

in the fritzbox .. i'v enabled Use Dynamic DNS. Domain name: the domainname of dyndns .. and i'v entered my passw/username of dyndns

but i get no response

why dont you use an anonymous? FTP://192.168.178.1 is also anonymous

Maybe it's really a difference between the boxes / firmware:

After I attached my USB-Stick to the USB-Host Port I got the checkbox to enable this feature (see Attachment "usb_ftp.jpg"). To check the connection I used a FireFox browser to access the FTP-Server via dyndns:

ftp://ftpuser:passwort@dyndns

successfully (see Attachment "browser_ftp.jpg").
