fail2ban in freetz

Fail2ban is an opensource python program to prevent bruteforce attack using iptables.

Iptables is already integrate in freetz. Is possible to run fail2ban ?? Has freetz an python interpreter ?

If you will have al small look in our package-list (in the WIKI on www.freetz.org) you will see no python-support.
Feel free to implement all you need and share it with us.

I will try.... but my linux skill are not enought to do it rapidlly.....
First of all I have to cross compile python.... This is the first issue!!....
I already cross-compille some programs, but are small programs or test programs....

Maybe it's ab bit easier to implement this directly as freetz-package. Have a look at our other packages und feel free to copy code from overall in our repository you find it needful.
We'll help you to test, fix errors and implement it correctly i think

You can use the makefiles for other programs as a template.

But first you should check the requirements of python, that means both the required libraries and the required RAM. It may turn out that there is no point to try to cross compile python.
