Hi

Im not sure if im posting in right place ( sorry i dont speak german )

I bought FB 7050 ( used one )

I have laptop on Wi-Fi and NAS on LAN. Im connecting to NAS using ftp client. My problem is that my upload to NAS is only around 2.5mbps. On old router, Sweex, I had about 30-40mbps. Any idea why is so slow? Next question is that FB is 5-6 times per day restarting by itself. It have newest firmrware, at least one which is on AVM site. Also when I use torrent client and upload something thorught ftp to NAS router is restarting after 5 mins. Its not restarting when I'm copying thorought windows but still its v.slow.

Thanks for help in advance.

First try to connect your laptop by LAN-cable and test the transfer speed again.
It's an known problem using P2P or strong traffic by WLAN.
Try to reduce the numbers of open connections in your P2P client (e.g. max. 50 total)
Best way to use the 7050: moderate traffic by WLAN and clever manage your P2P client.

Sorry for my english, my german is better. :lach:

Thanks for answer. I connected it thorught LAN and transfer is about 55mbps. Torrent is limited to 10 connections so it shouldn't be a problem. Still can't understand why is so low over WLAN while on some cheap Sweex router it was 10x faster with same configuration. Well I think I have to live with it. Friend of mine have some FB have to check this on his box.

Do you know what could cause that random restarts of Fritz? Can't figure it out becouse after restart event log is cleared. Maybe there is something wrong with FB itself?

Pls append a screenshot of your FB WLAN setting. Maybe another user can see the wrong checkbox settings.

The random restarts of your Fritz!Box are the result of overloading memory or some special internal tables or overloaded by LAN or WLAN traffic.

1 year ago I used a 7050 Fritz!Box and while strong network traffic by LAN or WLAN the Fritz!Box restarts.

Now I use the more powerful model 7170 and the number of random restarts decrease.

I hope another user have a solution.
Now it's time to go sleep.

Thanks for answer.

Just uploading screenshoot I hope that is what you wanted. I left router over night without any traffice and it didn't restart so it is as you said, high traffice and it restarts. If I want more stable I should go for 7170? Do you use it to copy files from WiFi to LAN? If yes do you know what transfer you get?

So restarts sorted, thanks Ecki-No1 for help, I appreciate it.

So now low transfer is next isssue. Any one have any ideas?:)
