FB has intern seriell Port?

Hi.
I'm not sure in this idea.
Does FB 7140 have intern seriell port?
If yes, it it possible to open the case and plug to it "LCD kundendisplay" directly? Or the only possibility I have - to use USB->RS232 adapter+driver?

Most (all?) FBs have an internal serial port. You can find more details here.

The internal serial console uses the voltage 0V/3.3V. You probably have to convert that to +12V/-12V. There is no plug for the console, just some points where you have to solder whatever you need there. Also you have to make sure that the boot messages from the console don't cause problems with whatever you want to connect there.

The hardware side will be easier if you use a USB->RS232 Adapter.

You will have to adapt the software in both cases.
