FBF 7050 anexA - no acces by www

Hi.
I have tried change firmware from english to deutsch and after this I loose access by www and telnet.

then I used recover image (anexA) and all process ends without any problem but I stil have no acces by www.

I checked by "ethereal" - there is no comunication from FBF - no packets.
it looks like ethernet FBF is broken - but when I start recover image - it found FBF by IP 192.168.178.2.

so ethernet of FBF must be working ok.

after recover DHCP of FBF schould be turned on but my computer cant give IP from FBF

any help please in english

You are going to have to give a whole lot more information than that.
What box? What firmware? What recover file? How?
Is your box behind a modem or router would also be good to know?
And for interest if you are writing english then why the hell are you trying to change your box from english to german?

What recover file? How?

I get "FRITZ.Box_Fon_WLAN_7050.AnnexA.en.03.91.recover-image.exe" from AVM

because I am disapointed of "last" firmware to FBF 7050 english version - 14.03.91

I cant work with this firmware and ISDN phone.
I have another one FBF 7050 anex B de version - firmware 14.04.01 and all is ok.

AVM use international users like a piece of shit - still no new firmware to en version only first firmware. To de version was many firmwares and last fw - 14.04.06

I am no expert but i will make a guess. If your box is behind a router then the router has given it another IP address.....maybe.

To get to your box again you need to give your computer the fixed IP of 192.168.178.150 and then you should be able to find the box with 192.168.178.150. See in your manual or download the english manual from the avm site. It explains this there.

Ps just to add insult to injury THEY have brought out another german version for the 7050 so you can update your german box again and know what you are missing with your english one.

As I said I am far from an expert. I do not remember reading anything here about the recovery file failing. I have read that sometimes you have to keep trying with it over and over again until the box takes the recovery file.

If nobody else answers your mail I think it may be time to go back to AVM and ask what is happening.

I am in Germany and have an annex B german 7050. I would be very interested if you did not want your english box anymore (to buy or exchange). I would like to see if such a box works as a presnt for my parents in Australia. They do not have ISDN but they need the G.729 codec which the english 7050 has.
