Fixed Line doesn't work....

Hi,

I have FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7050 Annex A, Firmware version 14.04.26, and when I try to connect to ISDN/Analog my normal Fixed line (not ISDN).

I made a cable to convert 4 Pin RJ11 to 8 Pin RJ45, connecting to pin 1 and 8 of RJ45.

But when i try to use the fixed line it's allways busy, and when I make a call to my fixed line it calls...calls....calls... and the Frizt!Box don't give any sign.

Only one or two times the line ring, I answer the phone and busy sound.

Can some one help me? :noidea:

In which country do you try to connect this line? Are you sure your wall socket for PSTN is properly wired and matches the wiring of the RJ11 plug?

Did you switch on the option to support fixed lines (under the System menu: Ansicht => Festnetz aktiv)?

In Portugal, I don't kown if impedance are diferent from Germany.

PSTN is connected in pin 2 and 3 of RJ11 and I connect to 1 and 8 of RJ45.

And yes in under the System menu: Ansicht => Festnetz aktiv.

Hmm... I know that some regional settings need to be modified for use of other ATAs in Spain and Portugal. Maybe there is a different ring voltage...

The outermost pins in the Fritz-plug are the analog connection.
