nachdem ich leider transmission nicht unter "Dienste" finden bzw. starten konnte tat ich die über telnet:

transmission-daemon -a 192.168.178.20

doch leider kommt immernoch dieser Fehler beim aufrufen:

401: Unauthorized
Unauthorized IP Address.

Hast du dir mal die Fehlermeldungen angeschaut? Vllt. mal die manpage zu transmission-deamon studiert? Alternativ mal hier die Threads studiert zu transmission? (sind ja ewig lang)?

Jung? Cool, danke. Mein Sohne nennt mich immer alt Dennoch ein reichlich sinnbefreites Posting.
Was erwartest du? Dass man sich transmission installiert, nachdem man sich deine config auf die Box geflashed hat, um dann den selben Fehler nachzustellen?
Hast du dir mal die manpage zu transmission-daemon angeschaut? Ich gehe mal nicht davon aus, oder? Was für Parameter meinst du könntest du setzen, damit du mehr Aussage bekommst? Aber gut, einen Service zu starten, und nur einen Client im Netz zu erlauben ohne weiteren Angaben zu dem Service und was er wie tun soll ist wahrscheinlich eben das, was wirklich wichtig ist, ne?

Also, ich hab dir zumidnest einen Tipp gegeben, wie du an Infos kommst, damit man dir weiterhelfen kann. Damit musst du anfangen, und infos liefern, sonst ist da nix zu machen. Punktum.

leider kenn ich mich sehr wenig bis garnicht mit linux aus und mein englisch ist ausserdem glaube ich noch schlechter und deshalb ist es mit eng.-anleitungen nicht ganz so einfach zu arbeiten...

Den Text aus Putty kann man hervorragend kopieren und in [ code3 ] -taags hier einfügen, das spart einen unübersichtlichen Screenshot.

Logischerweise geht es nicvht per rc, denn das funktioniert wenn dann nur im trunk. Die Kommandozeile war für dich schon der richtige Ansatz, nur hast du dir die Optionen zum starten nicht ausgiebig genug angeguckt.
Für dein English kannst du dir mit translate-Seiten helfen lassen, und füpr Linux-Basics ist auch jemand anders zuständig als dieses Forum.

Wird in der 1.2 vorhanden sein. Backporten werden wir nicht anfangen, ausser für Versionen von AVM, damit die stable auch stable bleibt.

Ist zwar jetzt offtopic, aber so ganz kann ich die Kriterien, wann etwas in stable einfliesst nicht nachvollziehen.

Transmission ist upstream inzwischen kurz vor 1.80, transmission-cgi auch schon lange getestet, bleibt trotzdem dem trunk vorbehalten.

Damit kann ich gut leben, was ich nicht verstehe ist z.B. der version bump vom callmonitor per #3645 und #3646 am selben Tag in den Trunk und nach stable fliesst, oder sehe ich das falsch?

Zum einen weiss Niemand der Devs, in welcher Verison transmission vorliegt, bis jemand darauf hinweist. Soweit ich weiss, nutzt echt kein dev dieses Ding. (korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege, ich nutz es nicht).
Btw kommen normalerweise keine bumps in den stable-branch, es sei denn, es sind security-relevante Sachen. Was dann erklärt, wieso das cgi für transmission nicht darin landet.

Im übrigen ist es Zufall, dass Oliver heute gemerged hat, das hing nicht am Callmonitor...

Edit: Und schau mal bitte, was Oliver heute da eingecheked hat. Nur ein simpler Hinweis auf die Callmonitor-Version, und keine sonstigen änderungen.

Soll wie gesagt keine Beschwerde sein, ich wills nur verstehen.

Dass transmissiohn-cgi als neues Feature nicht drin landet seh ich noch ein, aber was ist der Grund dass ne 2-Byte-Änderung in callmonitor.mk (da gabs heute im stable nen version bump) OK ist, die mehr oder weniger gleiche Änderung in transmission.mk aber bis 1.2 warten soll?

Ist mir schon klar dass der Termin heute mehr oder weniger Zufall ist, wahrscheinlich ist der callmonitor auch nur einfach mit dazu gerutscht ;-)

Frag Oliver Nee, im Ernst hat er diesen Kram wenn dann übersehen, oder aber transmission war nicht wichtig, bzw. ist kein security-fix sondern eine Erweiterung der Fähigkeiten. Ich weiss es nicht, und ehrlich gesagt ist mir das bei transmission auch nicht so wichtig

Da der alte Callmonitor wegen dem AVM-Sessionmanagement nicht mehr funktioniert mussten ich ihn updaten! Noch Fragen?
