Ich habe hier ein Problem, da ein Image nicht kompiliert werden kann.

Gibt es für Ubuntu 10.4 schon einen Befehlsstring was alles nachinstalliert werden muß?

Nimm den "Befehlsstring" der anderen Ubuntu-Versionen, was nicht passt, passend machen und im Wiki editieren.

Check bitte nochmal neu aus, lass das menuconfig nur mit der auswahl deiner Box gut sein und bau das Image, flasche dies. Wenns dies tut, dann ghets Stück für Stück weiter.. Wenn dann ein Fehler auftaucht, sehen wir weiter.

Dies ist übrigens die im Wiki empfohlene Vorgehensweise, um diverse Postings schon konkreter zu gestalten, denn so ist die Fehlermeldung ziemlich nichtssaagen,d vor allem, weil noch diverse dazu gehörende Dinge fehlen (siehe Wiki)
 
Bis hier her schon mal danke.

Habe den "alten" Trunk gelöscht und dann hat es fertig kompiliert.

Hallo

Gibts eigentlich eine Möglichkeit beim kompilieren ein Log abspeichern zu lassen? Das Log im Terminal ist ja deutlch zu kurz und ich bekomme immernoch eine Fehlermeldung die auf Fehler hinweist die offensichtlich weiter oben im Log sind.

Bei make <paket>-precompiled habe ich es schon immer wieder gemacht, bei make für das Freetz-Image noch nicht. Versuch mal "make > make_freetz_image.txt"

Oder Du versuchst es so, wie von er13 hier (klick) für popt empfohlen.

Hast Du es mal mit der Freetz-Linux-Buildumgebung versucht ? Du wärest nicht der erste der mit einem fehlerhaft upgedatetem Linux versucht ein Image zu bauen und sich dann wundert das nix geht.

Ja das ist ein Stinky Linux auf Ubuntu Basis als VM. Das ist ja extra für solche Sachen vorgesehen. Mit der vorgänger Version hat das erstellen ja auch geklappt.
Ich hätte wohl besser kein update gemacht.

Gute Frage, leider wird von jedem was anderes empfohlen ich habe jetzt schon das dritte Linux System ausprobiert (mit dem Freetz Linux hatte ich anfangs Schwierigkeiten und habe dann auf das Stinky gewechselt weil ein Ubuntu Image mit zwar Freetz Images erstellt hatte die aber nicht flashbar waren.

Ist halt nicht so einfach (für mich). ;)

Aber gut, ich werde es damit nochmal probieren.
 
Halte Dich einfach an die Anweisungen im Wiki (Newbie-HowTo) und schon sind viele Fragen zum Freetz-Linux geklärt.
Silent-Tears gibt sich viel Mühe ein lauffähiges Linux (ich bezeichne es mal so in Bezug auf Freetz) bereit zu stellen und seit dem ich dieses nutze sind meine def. Image annähernt gegen Null gegangen, es sei denn ich habe wieder die Anweisung nicht beachtet die im HowTo gegeben werden.
 
Und da gehen schon beim hochfahren die Schwierigkeiten los.
Das Ding zeigt mir keine graphische Oberfläche an. Ich bin da nur im Terminal. Das geht nun garnicht. :confused:
 
Wie in dem dazu gehörigen Thread geschriebne steht, gibt es dort keine grafische Oberfläche, und das mit voller Absicht von mir. Die benötigst du für Freetz eh nicht.
Das wirklich idiotensichere Howto hilft dir, dort ein Image zu erstellen und dies mit dummklickibunti über dein Windows zu flashen.
Wenn du eine grafische Oberfläche dafür willst, musst du dir leider Ubuntu-Kenntnisse aneignen und heraisbekommen, mit welchem Einzeiler man X und gnome/kde/etc installieren kann.

Wenn Du ein Terminal-Fenster in einer grafischen Oberfläche vorziehst, ist das Deine Sache. Denn für die Erstellung von Freetz braucht man ein Terminal, und nur das.
Aber wenn Dir der empfohlene Weg nicht gefällt, dann brauchst Du hier nicht nach Unterstützung für einen anderen Weg zu fragen.

Viel Spass bei dem anderne Linux. Denn zum Freetz bauen brauchst du nicht mehr als eine Console, bzw. es geht auch nicht anders. Wenn du einen Weg aus dem X heraus gefunden has,t den wir noch nicht kennen, so freuen wir uns über ein Howto. Ansonsten: Nimm den empfohlenen Weg, dann klappt es auch. Wenn du noch nicht einmal das hinbekommst.... Na ja, vllt. ist Freetz nicht das Richtige für dich?
 
Was nutzt mir ein erstelltes Freetz Image wenn ich dann das nichtmal wieder finde. Das ich die befehle mit der Konsole starten muss ist klar, aber dafür habe ich fertige scripte da die starte ich und alles geht automatisch dann habe ich das fertige Image dann im Windows Ordner liegen.

Warum also mehr als umständlich wenns auch einfach geht. Bei einem Recever oder beim TV muss ich ja auch nicht irgend welche Befehle eintippen um damit schauen zu können, läuft schließlich auch alles unter Linux. Die werden auch mit einem Ubuntu Linux natürlich mit grafischer Oberfläche erstellt. ;)

Natürlich habe ich das gelesen, sonst hätte ich ja nicht schon mehre Freetz Images erstellen können. ;)

Aber egal ...
 
Was nützt ein Freetz-Buildsystem überhaupt, wenn entsprechender User noch nicht einmal liest, wo das Image gelandet ist.... *seufz*
