Fritz!App Fon on International Fritz!Box 7170?

I use two Fritz!Boxes at home (both 7170s) and I would like to connect my Android phone using the Fritz!App Fon.

The problem is that for International, non-German Fritz!Boxes 7170, the latest fimware is only .84 (for the annex A version) or .82 (for the annex B version) . For the Fritz!App to work you need at least firmware .86 (the latest German one is .87).

Does anyone know what should be changed in the firmware in order for the Fritz!App to work on my non-German 7170?

I guess these older firmwares completely lack the SIP server to which the Fritz!App connects. Except for using the German firmware, which you can switch to Annex A, I don't see how to get this resolved.
