Hello,
I have purchased a Fritz!box 7360 international version, and installed it on a PSTN line in Greece (annex A); it runs the latest firmware FRITZ!OS 5.24 (111.05.24).
The DSL modem attempts continually to sync and does not manage it, sync drops after some seconds (Broadcom DSLAM, provider OTE).
I am quite sure the reason is annex M, which is unsupported by the provider (called them) and/or the DSLAM. The reason is that accidentally once this specific modem-router synced on the same line with plain simple annex A, it maintained a stable connection for one week. But now somehow the DSL connection was reset, and now it attempts to sync with annex M for two days. I have tried everything to no avail, from removing cables and splitters to moving the sliders in the DSL Line settings incrementally all the way to the stable side.

So the question is:

Is it possible to force (eg. via a web interface setting/modification/past firmware) the modem to fall back to plain Annex A instead of trying for Annex M?

Thank you in advance!
