I have an 7170 from 1&1 Germany annex b..

And i want to use it in Greece with annex a.


Is it possible to change it to annex a?

To change the annex version you can use the RuKernelTool. No other thinks are needed.

Conversion is apparently done - to use box also for landline you need to do changes in the cable. There are several posts in German showing how [thread=108051]contacts in FRITZ[/thread] have to be connected to dsl and telephone line. In short: middle contacts (PIN 4+5) in FRITZ-DSL/TEL connector transmit DSL signal - both neighbouring ones (3+6) are contacts for landline analogue telephone signals. You must connect them accordingly to your telephone connector.
