Help me restore FritzBox 7050 to default

Hello,

A friend was away on a business trip and the wife switch the internet provider. Now FritzBox 7050 will not connect to the new provider because the VCI & VPI
does not match. I tried to get to fritz.box but it was unsuccessful...

Can someone here please help so that I can also help return the box to the factory default state?

Connect an analog telephone to one of the telephony ports (Fon 1 or Fon 2) and dial

#991*15901590*

This will reset the box to factory settings.

thanks but now the box went bad when i plugged it. something exploded from inside and now it wont come on again
Maybe this is a bad box now
