This question is not very precise.

1. You can rather easily get an annex b box to work in an annex a environment- provided you got a good dsl line it would be sufficient to upload TELEFONICUS' file [POST=971638]"fritz_as_annex_a_kernel_args_newer.tar"[/POST] just like a firmware upgrade - ignore any error messages!

2. It is possible to "implant" the annex a driver from (english) fw14.04.26 into (german) fw 14.04.33. Methods described in this forum are "speed-to-fritz" and [POST=204802]"copy an annex-a-file (driver) or any other file from one fw to another"[/POST]. This would virtually result in a far better signal quality or support a not very good dsl connection.

These methods do not change the interface language which remains German. To change the language to English possibilities are offered by "FREETZ" or doing a downgrade to English 14.04.26 by a very DIFFICULT and RISKY procedure described elsewhere in this forum. This would be what [THREAD=208328] star786 is looking for [/THREAD]- probably thinking that this would be easy to do.
