Hello!

I am sorry I cannot write in German, but I hope somebody will be able to help me anyway.

I have a Fritz box fon wlan 7050 and in order to minimize electromagnetic noise in my flat ;) I am switching off WLAN on Fritz every time I switch off my computer connected to fritz by WLAN. I am doing it by telephone code (#96*0*), but I wonder - is there a possibility to do it from the computer? I would like to automate it (in order not to forget to do it when in hurry) - create a script to be executed on computer shutdown which would switch off WLAN on Fritz box. And then when I turn the computer on I would turn WLAN on manually using telephone code.

Any hints?

Hello,

you can switch off WLAN by the fritzbox browser interface in the WLAN configuration section. If you activate/deactivate the WLAN by browser, a CGI script is executed on the Fritzbox. You can find out the URL by analyzing the frame source code of the appropriate configuration page, then execute the script with WGET.

remote WLAN switching is working!

Hello!

Thanks for your help! I had no time to work on the issue for some time but eventually I have managed to make it work. The browser wouldn't show the source code of the configuration page, but I have sniffed the data sent to fritz using wireshark and then created a script to be run using curl. And now it is working fine! Thanks again!

Is it possible to make this script available to everyone?
